What is Wholesale Open to Public? Derrow Shirkey Ford's Wholesale Open to Public is a select offering of used cars that have traditionally been sold at the auction to independent dealers and small used car lots. These are vehicles that fall outside of Derrow Shirkey Ford's used car guidelines. They are generally higher mileage, older, lower-priced vehicles that are perhaps 'flawed' in some way. Some general guidelines for a wholesale vehicle: ⢠They are sold without a warranty ⢠They are offered for a limited time only - 30 days ⢠They are sold 100% AS-IS without any warranty coverage ⢠They are sold with our "best price" posted on the windshield. There is no negotiation necessary. Why Wholesale Open to Public? Simply put - our customers have requested that we make these vehicles available. Many of our customers have a need for basic transportation. By offering a broader selection of "kid's cars", 2nd car, college cars, and other inexpensive transportation options, we feel we can better serve our current customers and the general market.
We are located 2 miles South of the turnpike at exit 13. Our location makes it a very simple drive from Toledo, Fort Wayne, Hillsdale, Angola, Bryan, Defiance, Napoleon, or Jackson. OUR MISSION STATEMENT- We will be honest and transparent. Through teamwork, honesty and hard work, we will build trusting relationships with our customers; always striving to exceed their expectations. The same holds true for our team members as we constantly learn and improve from within ourselves and each other. Come see for yourself why Derrow-Shirkey Ford Lincoln is the fastest growing dealership in the tri-state area. We are committed to making the car buying experience fast, fun and easy!!! 1. Pricing - We post our best price on every vehicle, every day. Period. 2. Trade Inâs - Weâll make you a cash offer. No-Nonsense. We will buy your vehicle regardless if you purchase from us or not. 3. Financing - Multiple quotes in minutes. 4. No Surprises - We will gladly provide a history report and a copy of any repairs we performed on the vehicle. 5. Long Distance, No Problem! - We sell vehicles from New York to California.

It's easy enough to maintain.
By BishopBoo | on Monday, September 05, 2011
I drive in the city and on the highways around several states. The car is just right for me. My dog travels in the back seat. I think the trunk is very roomy for the size car. It does have trouble on hot days keeping the car cool, but even that doesn't deter me from wanting another. I was very sad to hear they were not going to make the Saturns any more. No other car has been as dependable or economical for me. I really like the car!!… - 5.0
best vehicle ever owned

my SL2 has stood up to everything I have thrown at it, (after a 4.5 months of not driving the car started without help) The only problem I have had with my car was that it has trouble with snow that is more than 2" deep… - 5.0
Practical, durable, and economical
By Michael_D | on Wednesday, June 20, 2012
I bought my 1997 SW1 wagon in November of 1996 and am still driving it today (Jun 2012), coming up on 200,000 miles. I had dealer maintenance done up until Saturn closed its doors. The car has terrific fuel economy (I get 30 to 35mpg with a mix of highway and city driving) and reliability. I've been through four batteries, three sets of tires, and one alternator but everything else is original equipment. Over nearly 15 years, this has made for a low overall cost of ownership. The polymer panels still look good after more that 14 years, and from the outside the car doesn't show its age. On the down side, road noise is a little higher than average, and the car's low profile does limit driver's field of vision somewhat.…
