Ford offers you two potential engines for the Ford Edge. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, which delivers 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. Looking for additional Ford power? Try out the available twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6. It puts 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque at your disposal. Both engine options are hooked up to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard on the Ford Edge, but you can also opt for available all-wheel drive to boost your handling and increase your level of capability. The most fuel-efficient configuration of the Ford Edge gets an EPA-estimated 22/29/25 city/highway/combined mpg.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the 2019 Ford Edge five stars for its overall, frontal crash, and side crash ratings. Your Ford Edge will keep you safe if you get into a collision, but that's not all; it can even help you avoid that collision entirely! You get standard blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, lane keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rearview camera. Technology
You get a standard 4.2-inch central display on the Ford Edge, as well as a six-speaker sound system. The available 8-inch infotainment touchscreen brings Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which makes it easy for you to sync your Ford Edge up to your smartphone. If you ever find yourself having trouble when parking, the Ford Edge offers some features to help you out, such as the available rear parking sensors. If you're looking for something more, there's also a fully-automated parking system.
